Automatic notation reflects my ‘body consciousness’ in the tension field of intuition and calculation. With simple elementary lines I trace, inscribe and delineate my perceptions of nature and my inner state of physical-existential orientation, bringing the tiniest internal seismographic oscillations visibly to the surface.
The drawings issue as if by their own volition, impelled from inside out. What is big becomes small, what is smallest significant. Thereby, I forget all things superfluous in favour of an essential expression of thought and feeling.
A sort of laboratoryof personal possibility arises independently of sculptural activity.
